According to this article in CNET, a new version of Bluetooth will be released in mid-2009. I am still using Bluetooth a lot (e.g., mobile, my mouse) and there was a time before when it was going to be made deprecated. But I kept my faith and now it's going to shine finally. Go Bluetooth!
