Lenovo locks down stolen Thinkpads

Lenovo has announced that they are working to lock down stolen laptops remotely using some kind of "kill switch", according to this ZDNet source. Simple as say, sending a SMS to the laptop to "shut" it down. And the good thing is, at no extra cost!

Congratulations on Djokovic on winning the last major of the year - the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai. He beat Davydenko in the Final 6-1 7-5 according to the Official Site. Men's tennis has now raised to another level. I'd love to see more of the top players fighting against each other on the courts and produce more of the best tennis! Would you give this new "facebook phone" a go?

It seems to be a good approach by 3 to have their own brand phone seen in SMH, available for a lesser price tag entry. This is like the recent trendy "netbooks" where you don't need a lot of power and expensive hardware/software to run anything off the web. I am looking for such a phone, and I think I will check it out once they are available in early December.

Oh yes! As a long term customer of Three, they have finally released something that I want for a long time, a mobile broadband Wi-Fi router!

I have been waiting for a similar product to arrive for quite some time! Now I don't need to get a "netbook" and instead I can use my iPod Touch to surf the web anywhere! Hahaha! Who needs an iPhone! :)
